Exhibitions of Learning Ahead...

October 10, 2011

On November 4, 2011 6th & 7th grade students will lead public exhibitions discussing aspects of housing, homelessness and the meaning of the word "home" to Baltimore City youth. Additionally, 7th and 8th grade students will present their learning on concepts of surveillance, civil liberties and the right to privacy. Join us at 9AM in our school library and middle school community room for engaging presentations of interdisciplinary studies.

BFA Students Spend Summer '11 Serving in Puerto Rico

Click on link to view/read story about BFA students who took time this summer to go to Puerto Rico and expand our mission overseas. Diamond Watson '14, Tonique Johnson and Kiarra Watkins, both recent 8th graders went to Puerto Rico this summer to participate in a cultural immersion. Students resided with families in Puerto Rico and assisted in repairing hurrican damaged homes in addition cultivating land on a local form. Read more -
